Coffee in the van in the driveway, in to the house for the aforementioned egg and sausage casserole and out by car for a tour of the birding sites of McAllen such as Quinta Mazatlan and Llano Grande Park with a sumptuous lunch at Arturo's in nearby Wesleco; S had the frog legs while I went with the Enchiladas Banderas and the raspberry iced tea followed by a nice margarita which everyone else already had.
R showed us some of the hundreds of buildings he has designed and his childhood home and kindergarten site now a nature center.
A lot of people around here think the Wall is dumb.
Finally got over to the library that R helped create out of former Walmart. Largest single story library in the USA. Cool library. R cooking wild game for dinner - dove, quail and Red Drum.
