Spending the day here at Buckcannon Lake exploring Longhorn Cave and the barbecue place in Llano, Cooper's, and hoping it doesn't rain although it is overcast, cool and breezy. I think I would like to take the bikes up the chair lift and ride down the Spider Mountain but that is probably not going to happen since it is only open on weekends. S made pancakes for breakfast for 6 and the 3 dogs were calm. The lake could be lowered at any moment our hosts say to make sure that the next one down the line which belonged to LBJ would stay nice and plump even though of course LBJ is in Texas Heaven now.
Later an unauthorized drive up under the Spider Mountain chair lift for mountain bikers, a return to the farm road gates from earlier and a breeching of them, a lunch at a paleo barbacue hall in Llano, a visit to a fancy inn in the style of the CCC, and finally with S fallen back into a cold the remaining foursome drove through the rain to Marble Falls for Mexican.
