| the vibe of the lost coast in january |
| the hash |
Walk with dog down to the bluff and to the beach where the seals in their multitudes had hauled out on the rocks. B had some trouble with the assent back to the top. S did a bit of the tai chi but fortunately there were no planes attempting to land or launch from the Cove at this time so her signaling went unnoticed. Some sky visible. This lost coast is 10,000 young dudes in pickups going fast this way and that. 1st and 2nd gear back over the mountains to bleak Garberville and a stop for hash, with the schezwan sausage from Ferndale butcher shop, beside the Eel. Trundled on down 101, rain increasing hoping for a library stop in Fort Bragg but it was closed so on to old hoity toity Mendocino and into its library. Not sure where today will end as yet.
